Karen Hilliard, owner and executive chef of Georgia Grille, offers private cooking classes for those who desire to throw on their cowboy boots and give their meals a little kick!

Hilliard opened the first restaurant in Atlanta to offer southwestern cuisine in 1990, paving the way for other eateries, but never losing her own unique interpretation of Southwestern style.

 
 

“Cooking with Friends” classes are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis featuring southwestern cooking with a touch of Hilliard's flair. Classes include Karen's famous dishes such as Lobster Enchiladas, Pan Seared Halibut with Mango Papaya Salsa and Smoked Poblano Peppers, all paired with her private collection of boutique wines. Apprenticing culinary artists will enjoy Hilliard's newly designed kitchen powered by Wolf and Sub Zero.
